History in the Remaking
While best known for it’s wild nights and legendary parties during the 1970s, the Helms House has seen a variety of colorful tenants over the decades. Built in 1892, the house has served as both a residential and commercial property in recent years, and a lack of regular upkeep and maintenance led to deterioration and an outdated appearance.
